In short
If SlingHook isn’t right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and you get a full refund. This is available once per customer. Renewals aren’t refunded, but you can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Paddle.com is our reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so Paddle processes every refund. This policy is in addition to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and does not reduce any rights you have under consumer law.
What can be refunded
| Payment | Refund |
|---|---|
| First payment of your first Pro or Team subscription, monthly or yearly | Full refund within 14 days of payment, once per customer |
| Monthly or yearly renewal | No refund; cancel any time to stop the next renewal |
| Upgrade or plan change charge | No refund, unless it was made by mistake and you tell us within 14 days |
| Charged in error, or after the service failed you (for example a duplicate charge or a long outage) | Write to us and we will make it right, whatever the date |
We may refuse refunds where the account broke our terms of service, where the account used a large share of the plan’s monthly allowance before asking, or where refunds are being used to get repeated free use of a paid plan. A new account for the same person, payment method or organisation counts as the same customer.
How to ask for a refund
- Email support@example.com from the address on your SlingHook account and tell us which payment, or
- Reply to your Paddle receipt, or contact Paddle at paddle.net using the email you paid with.
We reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; depending on your bank they usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
What happens to your account
When a subscription payment is refunded in full, or charged back, the subscription ends and the account moves to the Free plan straight away. Request history older than the Free plan’s 24 hours is then deleted, apart from pinned requests and saved scenarios.
Cancelling without a refund
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in the dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your paid plan until the end of the current period, and you can undo the cancellation before then.
Chargebacks
Please contact us or Paddle before disputing a charge with your bank. It is quicker for you, and a refund through Paddle avoids dispute fees. Accounts with an open chargeback may be moved to Free until it is resolved.
