Billing questions
Who will I be paying?
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, sends your receipt and invoice, and handles sales tax. Your card statement shows a charge from Paddle.
How do I pay?
Paddle's checkout takes cards and, depending on your country, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other local methods. Checkout opens inside SlingHook once you have an account, so you never leave the app.
Why is my price different from the one on this page?
Prices here are in US dollars. Checkout shows the price for your billing country, in your currency where Paddle supports it, and adds any VAT or sales tax that applies. Pro costs less in some countries.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing in the dashboard. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to Free. You can undo a cancellation before then.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, once. If SlingHook isn’t right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and you get a full refund. Renewals aren’t refunded, but you can cancel any time. The refund policy has the details.
What happens if I go over my events?
On Free, new events are rejected with a 429 until the 1st of next month. On paid plans SlingHook keeps catching every webhook and shows the overage in Settings → Billing. Overage is not charged today; if that ever changes we will tell you at least 30 days before.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly, or between plans?
Yes, from Settings → Billing. Changes take effect straight away and Paddle prorates the difference.
What does “Unlimited” endpoints mean?
There is no endpoint cap on Pro and Team, with a fair use ceiling of 500 endpoints per account to keep the service healthy for everyone. Write to us if you need more.
Is there a team plan with seats?
Team gives one account Team limits today. Shared workspaces with seats and roles are being built. Team subscribers get them when they ship, with 3 seats included.
